a really long time

the older you get, the more you have known everyone for a really long time. i cant believe it.
someone i met last week. in ten years i will have known them for a really long time. someone will ask if we have met and i’ll say yes, ten years, and theyll say wow that is a really long time. unless people become dead, but in my experience everyone i know doesnt die very much. very very rarely.
i have a good friend. i only see him a couple times a year. but i have known him eighteen years which is a really long time. but every time i see him he asks if i am still with the same woman i once dated for a really short time a really long time ago. he thinks that life is a really short time, but i know it is a really long time.
life is long. so so long, and every day life gets even longer. this is the longest time in the world.
