if you want to carry an anime sword on the train, you have to put it in a long cardboard box and tell the transit guards you are coming home from ikea. this is due to the fact that if you carry a fake anime sword in public, the police might think its a real anime sword and that by extension you are a real anime guy and they might very understandably fire at you. carrying a fake anime sword in public puts our boys in blue in a difficult situation, so i think it is good that we continue to place stringent laws on anime swords.
