even though i wrote an incredible paper, i still failed my astrology course. they didnt like my research question: could a planet ever be made of glass? they also didnt like my answer: yes. the first section was about how space is really big, so big that even the best telescopes cant see it all. therefore, it would be impossible to argue no. also, even if you could see the planet, you wouldnt. its glass. my second section argued that there must be some small glass animals living on this planet. what they look like we dont know, but ancient glassblowers of murano have given us clues. i changed focus in my third section when i realised astrology is not about space. this section i argued that a sixth element should be added to the chinese zodiac cycle. currently there is just wood, fire, earth, metal and water, but it makes sense there should also be glass. currently all years ending in 0-9 are ascribed to these elements, but i propose that years ending in 000 should get the special title of glass. therefore, if you thought you were a metal dragon, being born y2k, you are in luck - you are now a glass animal. i use animal here as a placeholder because we dont yet know what kind of animals are currently living on the planet of glass. and even though i met every section of the rubric, i was given a grade of 12% for not answering the assessment question and 'wasting their time'. i am very very mad about this. i will meet with the dean tomorrow.
