university merger
the youth have spoken. going to uwa is pretentious now. the pr team are freaking out. rumour has it that uwa and curtin are merging next year. the rumours are true. they are planning to vacate both campuses and build a new one at the median point in the middle of the river. murdoch and ecu will still stay independent, but i regret to say that my own university, saint yizman's bush school, is also getting subsumed. those who were hoping to do their free phd at st yizman's next year will now have to pay the full uwa tuition and the curtin one too. no more free rides.
